For the second year the Crew set up a modular HO layout at the Annual International Model & Hobby Expo held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont IL. This two day event is one of our biggest events each year.
We set up large HO scale layout of 1.8 scale miles for the two public days on Saturday and Sunday. During our time there we spent time talking to the Model Railroader Magazine people about getting youth involved in model railroading and several of our leaders joined the "Worlds Greatest Hobby" group. to help promote model railroading as a hobby.
